Program Description

This program prepares students for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam and provides comprehensive training in pharmaceutical practices, medication safety, and pharmacy operations.

Students will gain hands-on experience in both retail and hospital pharmacy settings, learning essential skills including pharmaceutical calculations, drug classifications, sterile compounding, and customer service excellence.

Program Objective

Upon completion, students will be prepared to sit for the PTCB certification exam, understand pharmacy law and ethics, perform accurate pharmaceutical calculations, assist in medication dispensing, maintain pharmacy inventory, and provide excellent customer service in healthcare settings.
