This comprehensive program combines physical therapy aide training with massage therapy techniques, preparing students to assist physical therapists and provide therapeutic massage services. Students gain extensive hands-on experience in both disciplines through clinical practice and supervised training.
The curriculum covers anatomy and physiology, physical therapy modalities, therapeutic massage techniques, patient care, rehabilitation procedures, and professional ethics required for practice in California.
Upon completion, students will be prepared to work as physical therapy aides and massage therapists, demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic techniques, assist with patient rehabilitation programs, understand anatomy and pathology, maintain professional ethics, and provide quality patient care.
